-Uniform Update- The Mattydale Fire Department is proud to announce the new class C uniform. All of our Firefighters have been given a new up to date sleek waterproof job shirt, Winter hat and a breathable polo for our warm months. Uniforms have been embroidered and purchased from Lewis Uniform Company in downtown Syracuse. If you notice a 35 insignia in the center this our station number for the county. Displayed on the hat is the firefighters badge number.

~Hydrant Clean Up Detail~ From 9:00 am till 11:00 pm Mattydale volunteers staffed and Engine 91 (using squad-4) during that time, one of the biggest things the crew focused on was shoveling hydrants within the district since it snowed the night prior.

On Saturday night, January 6th, the Mattydale Fire Department held its annual installation dinner. Amy Robbins (93 Q Radio) was the emcee for the night. It was a night in which line and executive officers of the fire department were sworn in to serve in 2018.
