   Stop in our station around 9am-2pm Monday-Friday or Thursday Nights at 7pm and ask for an application for membership. Our Firefighters will happily get you an application and give you a tour of the station while answering any questions you may have about becoming a firefighter. To be a Mattydale Firefighter, you must live within the boundries and be over the age of 18 with a high school diploma or GED.

    All New Firefighters Must complete the requirements below within Their First Year in:

*Pass FireFighter-1 or EMT.

*Complete New firefighter training.

*Attend half of drills and meetings for the year.

* Complete assigned Task Such as "Truck Checks"
