MATTYDALE FIRE DEPARTMENT "SELLS OUT" AT CHICKEN BARBECUE

The Mattydale Fire Department had a chicken barbecue on Saturday, June 13th and sold out after selling 240+ dinners! Firefighters and Auxiliary members arrived around 5:30 am to start setting for the event and by 8:00 am the first chickens were on the fire and being cooked. It was a brisk business from 11 am until about 2 pm when the last of the chickens were sold. Helpers included firefighters, auxiliary members as well as junior fire department members. Thank you to the community for supporting our fund raiser!!
