MATTYDALE FIRE DEPT. AUXILIARY LOOKING FOR MEMBERS

The Mattydale Fire Department Auxiliary active membership that is open to any applicant living under the roof of a active firefighter in the Mattydale Fire Department.  Members must be 18 years of age or older.  A person may also join as a active associate member, providing they are 18 years of age or older and reside in a territory as defined for membership by the Mattydale Fire Department By-Laws, and are not currently a member of another department or auxiliary.  Membership is open to both men and women.

The auxiliary meets the second Wednesday of each month at 7 pm at the Mattydale Fire Department.

Established in February 1938, like our fire department, the auxiliary is an all volunteer agency comprised of members of the community.  Our purpose is to assist firefighters on the scene of working fires, as well as work with the fire department at many other events throughout the year.  To assist and encourage support and friendship among all members.  This year's officers are:

President:  Carol Trent

Vice President:  Cathy Ostrander

Secretary:  Kim Geno

Treasurer:  Joan Sickler

Chaplain:  Kris Bilger
