MATTYDALE FIRE DEPARTMENT PARADES AT WILLIAMSTOWN FIRE DEPARTMENT FIELD DAYS
Tue. Aug 19th 2014

The Mattydale Fire Department participated in the Williamstown Fire Department Field Days Parade and took FIRST place in parading unit without music.  We also received a award for the fire department traveling the farthest distance to participate.  This is our 3rd year going to Williamstown, which is in Oswego County.  Despite a heavy rain throughout the parade, we paraded and finished!  There was a large crowd lining both sides of the road to cheer each uint as it went by.  Captain Dave Fitch, Firefighters Kurt Knarr, Blake Harden, Steve Stolusky, Robert Magnon, Steve Mento and 53 year member Don Bender participated in the parade.  It has been a fun and successful parade year in 2014!
