On Thursday Night February 2nd, 2017 at 21:16 hours the Mattydale fire department was dispatched to a reported structure fire at Hot Rides Auto Sales and Service, 1212 Wolf Street.  A/C Dave Russo arrived on scene to find the building fully involved and signaled a 99.  Chief Tim Zacholl took command and signaled a second alarm.  Fire departments from Mattydale, Liverpool, East Syracuse, North Syracuse, Moyers Corners, Lyncourt, Hinsdale, Cicero, Taunton and Solvay worked for over 7 hours to get the fire under control.  The structure was a complete loss and some cars on the lot were damaged.
