On Christmas Eve, The Mattydale Fire Department took time to help out some less fortunate members of our community. 

Christmas has always  been a time of giving and has always been the tradition of the fire service, Mattydale Fire Department reached out to 12 families of our community that are experiencing hard times.  With the help of our friends at P&C Supermarket, members of the department arrived at each home with a Christmas dinner already cooked with all the trimmings.

Thanks to Past Chief and Fire Commissioner Charlie Schirtz for organizing this great service project and the members that took time out of their Christmas holiday to come deliver the dinners.
