The Mattydale Fire Department was honored with a request to participate in the funeral service of Lyncourt Fire Department's Past Fire Chief, Anthony Guinta.  Tony passed away on Saturday, December 13th after a brief illness.

Along with standing by in quarters on Tuesday evening for the Lyncourt FD while they attended to calling hours, we were on automatic mutual aid non stop until Wednesday at noon.  During that time we answered numerous calls for assistance including a house filled with propane late Tuesday night.

Wednesday morning MFD Quint 3 was requested to participate in the funeral. Quint 3 set up at the cemetery entrance with Lyncourt Truck 2 to create an archway for the procession to enter under.  Thank you to Past Chief Jason Klink and Firefighter Rich Bilger for completing this special detail.
