On Saturday morning, Mattydale FD sent an engine crew to the Clay Training Center to assist with live fire training for a NYS FF 1 class. Dispatched  as RIT, Mattydale was once again challenged to take up a defensive position on a large recycling warehouse type structure that was well involved on arrival.  Quint 3's crew operated throughout the fire with numerous tasks including setting up portable masterstreams, making entry points in the building for large streams and even pumping to a NYSANG crash truck! (4/23/2005)Quint 3 operates at a 4 alarm fire in Moyers Corners

The Mattydale crew was forced to take down a stockade fence and stretch 4 supply line through yards to make a hydrant on a street a block away. Mattydale stepped up and sent a crew to Mohawk Fire Department in Herkimer County.
