Mattydale Fire Department was dispatched mutual aid to Lyncourt Fire Department along with Liverpool and Moyers Corners Fire Departments to a residential structure fire.  The call came in at 3:30pm reporting a fire in the residence with the occupant trying to put it out.  The occupant abandoned her efforts and escaped the home.

Mattydale Quint 3 (Lt Dwyer) was first arriving on scene and secured a hydrant and stretched a 1 3/4" handline to the front door and made entry.  The fire was quickly extinguished and Liverpool  E-2 completed ventilation duties.

With the quick work of the on scene crews, damage was limited to the home.

The crew consisted of Lt Smith (Chauffeur), FF Schad, FF Bilger and FF Snyder.
